Leo Martinez is a distinguished veteran of the thermal processing industry with a career spanning more than 35 years.
As the General Manager and Operating Partner at National Heat Treat, Leo leverages deep technical expertise and strategic oversight to lead all aspects of the business, from financial forecasting and P&L management to talent development and long-term strategic planning.
Leo's professional journey began as an apprentice in the late 1980s, where he mastered the fundamentals of metallurgy and furnace operations. He rapidly transitioned into leadership, serving in pivotal roles such as Sales Manager, Production Manager, and Operations Manager for several major heat-treating organizations. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in establishing captive heat-treat facilities from the ground up and securing critical certifications for rigorous aerospace and defense specifications, including AMS 2750.
Known for his meticulous approach to quality assurance and process evaluation, Leo has spent decades providing specialized thermal solutions for the oil and gas, aerospace, nuclear, and energy sectors. His commitment to operational excellence and a high-performance culture continues to drive National Heat Treat’s position as a leader in the Houston market and beyond.
